ANNOUNCEMENT: Applications for Asia Summer Program 2017 Are Now Open!
The Asia Summer Program (ASP) is back and this time it’s in Guangzhou! ASP2017 will be held from 1 August to 21 August 2017 at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangzhou, China.
ASP is an international platform for universities and participants of various Asian countries to come together and to learn from each other academically as well as culturally.
Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to experience studying abroad with transferable credit courses as well as experiencing outdoor activities and other programs organized by the host university.
So, hurry and grab yourself a spot by handing in your application form as attached in both hardcopy to Centre for International Affairs (CIA) office and softcopy to <email@example.com> the latest by 14 April 2017. Places offered are limited.
UniMAP offers partial funding in the form of ASP Special Funding (ASF) for successful candidates; only ONE (1) from each School, MPP and MPKK. If you are interested in applying for that funding, please make sure you tick the choice in your application form. UniMAP would cover the program fee costs of USD 900 that include hotel accommodation (double-room), courses, meals, academic visits, tours and airport pick-up. The ASF recipients need to bear airfare, visa fee and personal expenses. We would also consider self-funding candidates who are worth sending.

1 – 4 May 2017 : Interview sessions for ASF and self-funding candidates
5 May 2017 : Interview result announcement
The selection criteria for the interview are
- Local bachelor degree students in year one to year three of study
- Minimum CGPA of 2.8
- Possesses good English speaking, writing and reading skills
- Possesses good interpersonal and soft skills
- Willing to train and participate in cultural performance
