The School of Environmental Engineering is the seventh school established in UniMAP and was founded in January 2006. The school currently offers three programs:
Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) (Environmental Engineering) RK07 - Since 2006
This program is accredited by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) under Chemical Engineering disciplines. Environmental Engineering curriculum can be associated with the philosophy of the curriculum developed from the prevention of waste generation / waste treatment and exposure of students to the engineering aspects of the system environment as well as a holistic and unique curriculum (80% theory + 20% practical).
Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) (Civil Engineering)
*Formerly known as Building Engineering Programme (RK 82) - Since 2008
This program is accredited by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) under Civil Engineering disciplines. Students who follow this program will be exposed to various fields of knowledge about engineering that include design structures, geotechnical, concrete and steel, geomatics, water supply, water resources, highway, construction project management, IBS and materials (80% theory + 20% practical).
Bachelor of Civil Engineering Technology (Honors) (Construction) RY11 - Since 2013
The objective of this program is to produce graduates with expertise in theory and practice in the field of construction technology. The graduates will be exposed with knowledge and technical skills based on the latest technology to meet the current market demand. The engineering technology programmes are structured to be more practical biased than the conventional science based engineering degree programme (40% theory + 60% practical).
Master of Science and PhD in Environmental and Building Engineering
School of Environmental Engineering currently offers Master of Science and PhD by research in the area of Environmental Engineering and Building Engineering.
